Anti-Oxidation Refractory Coating Material Description
Anti-oxidation refractory coating material is a kind of ceramic coating material used to prohibit the oxidation of carbon containing refractory products (magnesia carbon brick, alumina carbon brick, alumina carbon long nozzle, and immersed nozzle, etc) during heat treatment and using. Anti-oxidation coating material should meet these technical requirements.
- Good spreadability, can adhere to the surface of carbon products evenly and firmly, have certain permeability to the surface of carbon refractory products.
- Have some extent of cohesion strength with carbon products surface after drying.
- Have good film formation ability when coated to lining surface, coating should not crack or spall.
- Can form homogenized dense glaze layer when heated under middle or low temperature, which can avoid oxygen in the air diffuses into refractory products.
To meet those technical requirements, anti-oxidation coating material should be made by ceramic glaze material, bonder and coating material additives, is a kind of high temperature ceramic coating material.
The thickness of anti-oxidation material coated to the surface of carbon products should no more than 1mm, so the granularity of solid materials used in coating material should be less than 0.03mm, the density of prepared coating mortar is between 1.6~1.8g/cm3. The coating should form dense gel protection layer when dried, when heated to 700~900℃, even glaze layer will form and prevent oxygen in the air diffusing into the carbon bricks.
Acid Proof Refractory Coating Material Description
Acid proof refractory coating material is made from acid or weak acid refractory powder material (less than 0.088mm), bonder and additives. To prevent crack of the coating material during drying process, short glass fiber or short aluminum silicate refractory fiber can be added to the coating material.
Acid proof refractory coating material are mainly used as coating layers of smokestack, flue or some inner lining of reactor with acid media.
Alkali Proof Refractory Coating Material Description
Alkali proof refractory coating material main components are alkali proof refractory powder, bonder and coating additives, can resist alkaline metal steam corrosion. The powder material can be used are finely grinded flint clay, high alumina bauxite clinker, alumina chrome slag, zircon, chrome corundum, etc. The granularity of the power is less than 0.5mm, and powder less than 0.074mm accounts for 60%~70%.
Alkali proof coating material or base proof coating material is mainly used in flue, smokestack and industrial atmosphere furnace lining, acts as protection layer of the working lining.
