Heat Resistant and Refractory Coating Material Description
Heat resistant coating material are mainly used as heat preservation layer of refractory lining outer surface. The working temperature of heat resistant coating material is under 700℃. By contrast, refractory coating material are mainly used as heat preservation layer of refractory lining inner surface, the working temperature is above 1100℃.
Heat resistant coating material adopts expansile vermiculite coating powder, expansile perlite coating powder, diatomite coating powder, lightweight clay clinker powder, glass fiber, aluminum silicate fiber and so on as base material. The proportion of different materials is determined by the required bulk density, thermal conductivity and using temperature. Binding agents can be used are silicate cement, aluminate cement, water soluble sodium silicate, acid aluminum di-hydrogen phosphate, etc. Plasticizer can be used includes bentonite and plastic refractory clay.
Refractory heat preserving coating material’s main materials include: light weight clay clinker, lightweight high alumina clinker, lightweight mullite clinker, lightweight alumina clinker, sintered clay hollow ball or mullite hollow ball, fused alumina hollow ball, coal ash cenosphere, ceramic fiber wool, etc.

Heat Resistant And Refractory Coating Material Applications
Heat resistant coating material are mainly used in the outer surface of industrial furnace masonry, such as the outer surface heat preservation layer of steel rolling heating furnace, heat treatment furnace and glass kiln and the inner wall heat preservation coating layer of hot air tube and exhaust flue.
Refractory coating material are mainly used as high temperature furnace inner lining surface coating layer and the heat preservation coating layer of hot air flue inner wall. Refractory coating material can also be used as inner lining surface coating layer of refractory fiber felt or other refractory fiber products to enhance air current scouring resistance ability and smoke corrosion resistance.
