Zircon Fire Brick Description
Zircon fire brick, also known as zirconia brick is produced by stable zircon sand. Zircon bricks have a very high melting point of 2700℃, is an excellent refractory material with good corrosion resistance. Zircon bricks are mainly used in glass industry, non-ferrous metal smelting furnace, and pure steel furnace as lining for working ends and feeder channels in melting tanks. Zircon bricks can also serves as separation layer between silica and fusion cast materials in order to prevent contact reactions. Zirconia related bricks including zirconia corundum brick, zirconia mullite brick, zirconia hollow ball brick, zirconia chromium corundum brick, AZS bricks and have correspondingly exclusive characteristics. For example, Zircon corundum brick has higher corrosion resistance and thermal shock resistance than zirconia brick.
Zircon Fire Brick Characteristics
Excellent mechanical strength high density.
Thermal shock stability.
Good resistance to corrosion,
high refractoriness under load
