The main material of sintered mullite bricks is bauxite chamotte, add small amount of clay or bauxite as anchoring agent. And it is made by molding and sintering. The high temperature performance mainly depend on the alumina oxide content and uniformity of mullite phase and glass, it mainly used in the hot blast furnace top, blast furnace shaft and bottom, glass melting furnace regenerator, ceramic high temperature furnace, dead angle furnace lining of petroleum cracking system, etc.
Sintered Mullite Bricks adopt the high bauxite, sintered mullite, fused corundum, fused mullite and special admixture, made of high pressure forming, high sintering.
Application of Sintered Mullite Brick
The sintered mullite brick is mainly used in upper part of the upper part of the regenerative chamber of glass kiln, small furnace wall and arch, molten pool crown, forehearth and ther parts.
Characteristics of Sintered Mullite Bricks
- High temperature resistance
- Excellent thermal shock stability
- High temperature creep rate is low
