Semi-Rebonded Magnesia-Chrome Brick Introduction
Semi-rebonded magnesia-chrome brick is a kind of refractory product with the partial fused magnesia chrome sand as the raw material to burn. The main mineral composition of semi-rebonded magnesia-chrome brick is periclase, spinel and small amount of silicate. The granule is of opacified structure, the spinel in periclase is full –grown, the matrix part is of metasomatic structure. The direct combination of crystal is periclase-pericalse or periclase-spinel, silicate phase exists in isolated state between intergranular, the thermal shock resistance of semi-rebonded magnesia-chrome brick is better than the direct-bonded magnesia-chrome bricks.

Application of Semi-rebonded Mgnesia-Chrome Bricks for Lime Kiln
Semi-rebonded magnesia-chrome brick can be used in damageable zone of electric steelmaking, RH,DH vacuum degassing vessel, VOD,LF,ASEA-SKF,AOD and second refining slag line and other serious erosion parts, copper converter tuyere area, rotary cement kiln firing zone and thermal storage glass furnace. And the semi-rebonded magnesia-chrome bricks are mainly used in lime kiln.

Compared to rebounded magnesia-chrome brick, the semi-rebonded magnesia-chrome bricks have low cost, good thermal shock resistance. Within limits, semi-rebonded magnesia-chrome brick can replace rebounded magnesia-chrome brick.
