The compression strength of refractory brick: The porosity of the refractory products is small, means that the density is good, and the quality of the bricks is good. One is named as “ apparent porosity”, which means that the ration of volume of the atmosphere pores with refractory products and the total volume. The two is the “crushing strength under high temperature”.

Porosity: High temperature load softening point, refers to the refractory products produced in the application process, not only resist to high temperature, but also to resist the corrosion of  washing of slag,  all kinds of metal or material solution, or working parts, and bear the pressure of each structure of the furnace.
