Alumina Hollow Bricks Description
Alumina hollow ball brick is a kind of new high temperature insulating material,it is produced with smelted and blown alumina in electric furnace, the crystal form is a-Al2O3 microcrystal. Take the alumina hollow sphere as the main body, and it can be made into various shapes. The highest use temperature is 1800 degrees, and the product has high mechanical strength. It is several times of the light weight products, and the volume density is only 1/2 of the corundum products.
Advantages of Alumina Hollow Bricks

It can reach to above 1750 degree, good heat stability. the change rate of refiring line is small and longer using time.

Nowadays, high temperature resistant materials are all of heavy bricks. The bulk density is 2.6-3.0g/cm, while the alumina hollow brick is only 1.1~1.5g/cm, under the condition of the same cubic meter volume. The alumina hollow ball bricks can reduce the weight of 1.1-1.9 tons.

To achieve the same use temperature, if using the heavy bricks, the price is equal to that of alumina hollow brick, and considerable insulation material is needed. If alumina hollow ball bricks are used, 1.1-1.9 tons heavy bricks per cubic meter can be saved, and 80% of fire-resistant insulating materials can be saved.
