Magnesium Ramming Mass Description
Magnesium ramming mass is a high magnesia content monolithic refractory material uses fused magnesia or sintered magnesia as aggregate, mixed with fine powder, bonder and other additives by specific proportion. Magnesia ramming mass is easy for application, can directly put into construction at the worksite. During construction, magnesia ramming mass is rammed either by manual or mechanical methods. Because of magnesite ramming mass’s high MgO ratio and fine sintering property, erosion resistance, palling resistance, abrasion resistance, thermal shock resistance and so on. Magnesite ramming mass is usually used as furnace bottom material, furnace lining material and stuffing material.
