Sintered corundum brick uses dense alumina clinker as raw material. The brick has high melting point, stable performance at high temperatures, good mechanical strength and wear resistan at room temperature and high temperature. Anti-metal erosion and anti-oxidation, superior performance is excellent.
The raw materials used in the production of corundum bricks are prepared by calcining fine pure alumina powder(sometimes adding small amount of MgO additives to improve its crystal structure), pressed into adobe and calcined at 1850 ° C or higher. High temperature calcination can reduce the pores in the adobe structure, enlarge grain size about 25 to 40 times. Good sintered corundum crystals are densely plate-like, can be divided into white corundum brick and brown corundum brick.
