There are many types of high alumina bricks, if you want to know which kind of high alumina brick is suitable for you furnace, this article will give you answers.
- High Alumina Brick
High alumina brick is a kind of alumina-silicate refractory material with content of alumina oxide more than 48% Al2O3. It is calcined and formed by the raw material of banxite or the material with high content of AL2O3. High thermal stability, the refractoriness is more than 1770℃. Good slag resistance, used for the liner of masonry steel-making electric stove, glass furnace and cement revolver.
- Anti-stripping Alumina Brick
Anti-stripping alumina fire brick was produced with special bauxite chamotte, fire brick adding aragonite or ZrO2 and pressing under high pressure based on a certain ratio. It has strong anti-stripping as well as strong resistance to K, Na, S, Cl. Low thermal conductivity, which is the ideal material for the transition zone and decomposing zone for cement kiln, the remarkable characteristics of the products are good heat resistance and good adaptability to the environment. It is often used in the preheating zone or decomposed furnace and grate cooler and other parts.
- Phosphate Bonded Alumina Brick
The phosphate bonded high alumina refractory brick is a kind of refractory products which is made of compact superior grade or first grade high alumina vanadium soil clinker as main raw material, phosphoric acid solution or aluminum phosphate solution as binder. After semi dry mechanical pressing and molding, it is made into chemical bonded refractory products with 400-600 degrees centigrade heat treatment. It belongs to the baking-free brick, in order to avoid the large shrinkage in the processing of using products in high temperature, the heating expansion raw materials generally need to be introduced in the ingredients, such as kyanite, sillimanite, pyrophyllite and silica. Compared with ceramic fired high alumina brick, its anti-stripping is better, but its load softening temperature is low and its corrosion resistance is poor. Therefore, a small amount of fused corundum and mullite need to be added to enhance the substrate.
- Low Creep High Alumina Brick
The low creep high alumina refractory brick is made of super bauxite clinker as main raw material, supplemented by special additives. It is formed by high-pressure molding and firing at high temperature. It has the advantages of large heat storagecapacity and low creep rate. It is suitable for supporting hot blast stove in small and medium sized blast furnaces. It has excellent anti erosion, anti scouring, high thermal stability, can be applied to the blast furnace main ditch iron waterlline, slag line, waterline, swinging spout, residual cans, Top of main groove cover, both sides of the main groove, iron runner, slag ditch and other parts.
